The struggle and resistance of our people to protect and continue the revolution grows brighter day after day. Our people, who made great sacrifices for the sake of their homeland, are directing their children with all their courage to the ranks of the revolution. Especially our people in Afrin, despite the occupation of the Turkish state, they have never abandoned their drive towards revolution to confront all kinds of genocidal policies. They are committed to their pledge to the independence and freedom of the homeland.
Our comrade, Yasmine Ibrahim, under her nom de guerre, Avashin Zenar, grew up in the city of Afrin within a family known for its national values. For this reason, these distinctive characteristics of the family played a decisive role in the choices and searches in Avashin’s life.Comrade Avashin grew up searching for a free life since her childhood. For her, the stories of the nation’s revolutionaries have become the answer to the question “how do we live?”. With the revolution, as a young woman, she sees herself in the ranks of the Women’s Protection Units and decides to join the ranks of freedom.
Comrade Avashin’s great decision and high determination within the ranks of the struggle was reflected in every moment of her life. She took training in the line of women’s freedom and a great deal of commitment, loyalty, and faith as her basis. To build a democratic system, comrade Avashin took her steps in the ranks of freedom with an unparalleled spirit of sacrifice, and with her courageous personality, she carried out all the duties and responsibilities that the revolution placed on her without hesitation, and with her persistence and determination , she became one of the revolutionaries that history will never forget.
Our comrade joined the convoys of martyrs due to an accident occurred on October 27, while she was at the head of her revolutionary duties. We offer our condolence to the family of our dear and valuable comrade Avashin and to all our patriotic people. Our connection to the martyrs is the basic strength of our philosophy of life. Our martyrs are the torches that illuminate our path in the struggle for a free life, for that, we will achieve all the dreams of our martyred comrades. like our comrade Avashin, we will continue in the path of the freedom martyrs.
