<\/p>\nFrom the heart of the revolution, the loyal and courageous sons and daughters of our people continue to write pages filled with resilience and heroism. Their lives become the epics of our contemporary era, embodying the most sacred values of their people and their history.<\/p>\n
On November 27, 2024, as Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) launched its campaign to topple the Ba’ath regime, the gangs affiliated with the occupying Turkish state were simultaneously advancing toward the areas of the Autonomous Administration in North and East Syria.
\nOn one front, the HTS fighters did not surrender the regions and cities under Ba’athist control until they reached Damascus. On another, the mercenaries backed by the Turkish state launched brutal attacks on our regions.
\nFaced with this situation, our forces\u2014alongside the peoples of the region\u2014mobilized and took up a self-defense position with unmatched readiness and sacrifice.<\/p>\n
During this months-long resistance, our forces from the Women\u2019s Protection Units (YPJ), People\u2019s Protection Units (YPG), and the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) entered the battlefield with a clear conviction: we must not allow the enemy to destabilize our regions or annihilate our people. They fought a relentless war and succeeded in forcing the enemy into retreat, dealing decisive blows to the occupation.<\/p>\n
Our comrade Dunya Hanan, known as Nesr\u00een C\u00eeya, joined this resistance with unwavering determination from the very beginning of the operation.
\nWith iron will, she led her fellow fighters in her unit and took part in the fierce battle that unfolded in the city of Manbij. As a commanding comrade, she responded to the occupation\u2019s offensive with courage and bold resistance.<\/p>\n

Our comrade Dunya Hanan, known as Nesr\u00een C\u00eeya, was born in the beautiful city of Afrin in 1999. She was raised in a patriotic and revolutionary environment that fostered deep love for her people. Many members of her family were involved in the revolutionary struggle, and she became aware of her responsibilities toward her homeland through the spirit and warmth of the revolution.
\nWith this awareness, she joined the Women\u2019s Protection Units (YPJ) in Afrin in 2016. She received her initial training there and went on to serve in Afrin, Shahba, and Aleppo for an extended period, during which she developed her personality and gained valuable experience.
\nShe later moved to the Euphrates Region and then to the Jazira Region, where she underwent military and ideological training at the Martyr D\u00eelan Academy. There, she shaped her personality according to the standards and principles of the free woman as defined by Leader Apo.<\/p>\n
Her dreams were of freedom, and her goals were as noble and vast as the Rojava Revolution. Just as she had fought with determination in the battles of Afrin and Shahba, she also moved with her comrades to the frontlines in Manbij.
\nThere, with revolutionary spirit and unyielding will, she resisted the occupation until her last breath, without retreat. Even after being wounded, she refused to abandon her post and continued to fight on the frontlines until she fell martyr on December 8, 2024.<\/p>\n
With the souls of our noble martyrs\u2014most recently our comrade Nesr\u00een\u2014we are determined to uphold their goals and continue on their path.
\nWe extend our deepest condolences to her family, to our people, and to all our comrades.
\nWe renew our pledge to Leader Apo and to the martyrs. The struggle of our comrades against threat and occupation will become a way of life for us and will be forever engraved in our memory.
\nWe renew our promise and remember our comrades with the utmost respect and gratitude.<\/p>\n
