Hundreds of women took to the streets in the besieged city of Kobani to defend the achievements of the Rojava Revolution, marching under the slogan: \u201cWith the will of resisting women, we will defend the revolution and our existence.\u201d
\nShonaf Khalil condemned the act of a gang member who cut the braid of a fighter from the Women\u2019s Protection Units (YPJ), stating:
\n\u201cThere are millions of braids. Women began the revolution with their braids, and they continue to resist with them. We will resist and defend the gains of the Rojava Revolution and the existence of women.\u201d
\nThe march concluded with the slogans \u201cResistance is Life\u201d and \u201cWoman, Life, Freedom.\u201d<\/p>\n
