On this sacred land, epics of heroism have been written with the blood of noble martyrs for hundreds of years. Kurdish young women and men have continually sacrificed their lives for the dignity of their people. With the first sparks of the Rojava Revolution (Western Kurdistan), hundreds of young hearts filled with the spirit of freedom carried their torches into the darkness of the ages and marched toward the trenches of freedom.<\/p>\n

Throughout this sacred journey of the Kurdish people, women have been the brightest stars in the sky of the homeland. Through the philosophy of “Woman, Life, Freedom” (Jin, Jiyan, Azad\u00ee), women not only resisted on the battlefronts but also became the architects of a new, equal, and just life, laying the foundations of a free society. Our comrade Kurdistan (Nesrin Abdulrahman Jelo) also walked this sacred path with profound devotion and love.<\/p>\n

First and foremost, we extend our condolences to the architect of the free life, Leader Apo, as well as to the family of our beloved and devoted comrade, and to our entire patriotic people, who take pride in their martyrs.<\/p>\n

Our comrade Kurdistan was born in 2008 in the city of Derik, into a patriotic family and environment whose hearts beat with love for the homeland. From her childhood, she grew up listening to stories of revolutionary culture and the epics of the heroes of freedom. The truth and profound spirit of the Kurdistan Freedom Struggle became deeply rooted in her thoughts and character like a golden thread. As a young woman, she refused to accept the norms imposed by the authoritarian mentality upon women and, with a deep sense of responsibility and a spirit of self-sacrifice, joined the ranks of the Women’s Protection Units (YPJ).<\/p>\n

Within a short period, through her dedication, tireless efforts, enthusiasm, and boundless passion, she became a role model and a source of inspiration for her comrades. With her radiant smile, she always brought meaning and beauty to life. At every moment of her life, Comrade Kurdistan remained deeply committed to the path of women’s freedom, becoming a star that will never fade from the sky of freedom.<\/p>\n

On 16 July 2026, Comrade Kurdistan joined the caravan of immortals following a tragic accident. As her comrades, we feel profound sorrow, yet we remain faithful to the truth forged by our martyrs through their lives. Our martyrs struggled and sacrificed themselves for a life of equality and dignity. With unwavering determination and endless devotion, we renew our pledge of loyalty to the martyrs of the cause of freedom. We will continue our struggle until our last breath, guided by the path of the martyrs, for the freedom and stability of our homeland.<\/p>\n
