“As a people, we stand with all our strength in support of the Women’s Protection Units, and today we call for their official recognition due to their long history of struggle and the path paved with sacrifices that they have followed for many years in order to protect the people and safeguard women’s freedom and dignity.”
The event concluded amid an enthusiastic atmosphere, as participants raised slogans honoring women’s struggle, chanting: “Long Live the Resistance of the Women’s Protection Units,” as a message of resilience and a reaffirmation of the people’s support for the women’s forces in the region.
