Today, a funeral ceremony was held in the city of Kobanê for three heroic martyrs who were martyred in Manbij in 2024.
The funeral ceremony for the three martyrs was attended by their families, hundreds of residents of Kobanê, military forces, and representatives of social institutions.
The ceremony began with a minute of silence in mourning for the souls of the martyrs.
During the funeral ceremony, Bakrî Hac Îsa, speaking on behalf of the Martyrs’ Families Organization, delivered a speech in which he said:
“These three martyrs, Cûdî, Tolhildan, and Nergiz, gave their hearts in sacrifice for the homeland and were martyred in prison when the attack on the city of Manbij intensified in 2024, in an effort to prevent it from falling into the hands of the occupying enemy. They fought and sacrificed their lives until their final breaths.”
“We extend our deepest condolences to the families of our Arab and Kurdish martyrs.”
Bakrî Hac Îsa continued his speech, saying:
“Through the unity of the Kurdish and Arab peoples, we will build a united Syria through the unity of its peoples. We pledge to our people and to all the families of the martyrs that we will continue the path of our heroic martyrs.”
At the conclusion of the ceremony, the martyrs’ certificates were read and handed over to their families, and the martyrs were laid to rest on the shoulders of their comrades.
