YPJ fighters from both Kurdish and Arab communities, who stand at the forefront of the resistance, affirmed that they will not remain idle in the face of any form of attack. They pledged to defend their people and their land.
Since January 6, the transitional government in Damascus has launched fierce attacks on Rojava and North and East Syria. Residents of the region have been defending their neighborhoods and streets against the threat of invasion and all forms of aggression. Today, Kurdish and Arab communities alike stand at the forefront of this resistance, defending their achievements and their dignity.
In response to the attacks and massacres, YPJ fighters delivered the following message:
“We firmly believe that we will defeat any attack launched against our people. We will not allow the enemy to enter our land. We will continue our resistance for this people and this land until the very end.”
At the conclusion, the fighters chanted: “Long live the resistance of the Women’s Protection Units and the People’s Protection Units,” and “Woman, Life, Freedom.”
