Dozens of young men and women from the city of Al-Hasakah took part in a march condemning the so-called international conspiracy against Abdullah Öcalan, affirming that they will continue their struggle until his physical freedom is achieved.
The Revolutionary Youth Movement in Al-Hasakah organized the march, which brought together dozens of young women and men from the city. The demonstration began at Al-Hamama Roundabout and proceeded to Martyr Sarhad Roundabout. Participants carried portraits of Abdullah Öcalan and banners reading, “Down with the international conspiracy.”
After observing a minute of silence in honor of the martyrs, Helen Suleiman, a member of the Revolutionary Youth Movement, read a statement declaring:
“We condemn this conspiracy targeting Abdullah Öcalan, who represents the key to resolving the Kurdish question and the issues of the Middle East. We affirm that they will not succeed in achieving their objectives through this conspiracy. Our leader remains among us, and his ideas are rooted in our minds. We will continue along this path until our very last breath.”
The march concluded with participants raising portraits of Abdullah Öcalan on high-rise buildings while chanting, “Long live the Leader’s resistance,” and “Long live Leader Abdullah Öcalan.”
