One of the participants said in this regard:

“We have gathered here today as women fighters of the Women’s Protection Units and the Internal Security Forces to demonstrate that we are united. Our mission is not only to maintain security, but also to build a clean and healthy society. We will always stand hand in hand to٧ make our homeland cleaner, purer, and more beautiful, because cleanliness is part of our culture and our values.

From here, at the Martyr Arîn Mîrkan Roundabout, where she sacrificed her life so that we may live with dignity in this city, we send a message of loyalty to her spirit and to the spirits of all the martyrs. We call upon all residents of the city of resistance and steadfastness, Kobanê—women, men, young people, and children—to join us as partners in this responsibility, to maintain the cleanliness of their neighborhoods and streets, and not to dispose of waste indiscriminately. Kobanê is a city of martyrs and resistance, and it deserves to be the most beautiful and cleanest city.”

The campaign also received significant positive engagement from local residents and shop owners around the roundabout. Many expressed their admiration for this initiative, while some offered water and assistance to the participants.

The goal of this campaign goes beyond merely cleaning the roundabout. It also seeks to convey an awareness message that cleanliness is a collective responsibility shared by everyone, and that cooperation between the security forces and society is fundamental to building a strong and beautiful city.
