Recently, despicable attempts and attacks have targeted images of our martyrs and the sanctity they represent, which are among the most sacred values of our people and our revolution. These attacks, which directly target the dignity of our martyrs, violate the fundamental principles of humanity, moral awareness, and the inviolable red lines of society’s conscience.
Our martyrs are our identity, our honour, and the most sacred values underpinning our existence. Those who were defeated by the will and resistance of free women are now attacking our martyrs through inhumane methods that go beyond all standards of human morality. These immoral scenes and despicable acts are in no way befitting our people or our homeland. Such attacks constitute a direct assault on the honour and values of our entire society.
As the General Command of the Women’s Protection Units (YPJ), we call on the Damascus government to assume its responsibility, take immediate action against these inhumane acts, and hold those responsible fully accountable to the fullest extent possible. We want the public and all parties to know that we, the Women’s Protection Units, will not remain silent in the face of these attacks, and no violation of the sanctity of our martyrs will go unanswered or unaccounted for.
In this regard, we call on all members of our nation, particularly women and young people, to remain vigilant against this psychological warfare, take a firm stand against these immoral scenes, safeguard our dignity, and stand united in solidarity with our martyrs. We will remain steadfast in defending the honour, dignity, and identity of our martyrs until the very end.
