Today, the people of Kobani bid farewell to five martyrs at the Martyr Dijla Cemetery in the city

The bodies of Syrian Democratic Forces fighter Salih Doshka (Salih Abdi) and Commando Forces fighter Perosk (Mohammad Abbas) were laid to rest. They were martyred between January 20 and 23 during clashes that took place in the Sarrin area.
Funeral rites in absentia were also held for three other martyrs: Women’s Protection Units (YPJ) fighters Arîn Mîrkan (Amina Ahmad) and Rojken Botan (Hawa Oghurlu), who were martyred on January 21 in Raqqa; as well as People’s Protection Units (YPG) fighter Agid Amanos (Ayman Nabi), who was martyred on January 17 in the Deir Hafer area.
The two bodies were laid to rest amid chants and the slogan, “Martyrs are alive; they never die.”
