A delegation from the Socialist Communist Women’s Party visited the Women’s Protection Units (YPJ) today. The delegation was received by YPJ spokesperson Roksan Mohammed, Military Council member Destina Aleppo, and Military Council member Berxwedan Qamishlo.
During the visit, YPJ spokesperson Roksan Mohammed stated:
“The popular activities held in support of the Kurdish language give us the faith and conviction that revive within us the spirit of the early days of the Revolution. No matter what a person does for this cause, they remain indebted—especially at this stage. We owe a tremendous debt to this people, and we will strive to be worthy of them.”
At the conclusion of the meeting, the delegation of the Socialist Communist Women’s Party presented a portrait of the prominent women’s leader Sakine Cansız (Sara) as a gift to the Women’s Protection Units (YPJ).
