On the occasion of the 14th anniversary of the July 19 Revolution (the Rojava Revolution), a delegation from the Democratic Union Party (PYD) visited the Women’s Protection Units (YPJ).
The delegation was received by the YPJ spokesperson, commander Roxan Mohammed, together with members of the Women’s Protection Units Council.
Commander Roxan Mohammed welcomed the delegation and spoke about the July 19 Revolution, congratulating everyone on its fourteenth anniversary and paying tribute to the martyrs, the people, and especially to women, who played a fundamental role in the success of the revolution.
She also highlighted the achievements of the revolution and the pioneering role women have played throughout its course.
At the conclusion of the visit, the delegation presented a commemorative gift to the Women’s Protection Units (YPJ).
