In the world of humanity, faith is regarded as one of the most significant sources of inspiration for thought and action within societies. All religions are founded upon the uniqueness of cultures. Just as the diversity of colors in the mosaic of peoples reflects richness and vitality, the multiplicity of nations and languages expresses the very nature of humanity.
On this occasion, we celebrate the Christmas of the Christian world together with Armenians, Assyrians, Syriacs, and Chaldeans. We hope that the call of Leader Abdullah Öcalan will serve as a foundation for establishing a peaceful and democratic society among peoples, which constitutes the basis for resolving all the problems caused by hegemonic powers. This call embodies a peaceful and just solution.
Jesus Christ, the pioneer of oppressed peoples, began his journey of struggle by uniting the dispossessed and marginalized Christian people under the banner of a single faith. Thus, the struggle of Jesus Christ—representing true Christian culture and ethics—stands as a model worthy of pride and honor.
Just as women fighters from different religions and peoples have united under the umbrella of the Women’s Protection Units (YPJ), we will continue our struggle for peace and stability in our homeland, striving for democracy and equality.
Once again, we extend our warmest congratulations to the entire Christian world and the peoples of the region on the occasion of the glorious Christmas.
