The Second National Song Festival in Tabqa Canton

As part of the celebrations marking the Second National Song Festival in Tabqa Canton, a song titled “For You, We Sing” was launched, embodying the national spirit that unites the people of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria with their sons and daughters in the Syrian Democratic Forces.
The Culture and Art Authority in Tabqa organized the second edition of the National Song Festival, attended by local residents, the Syrian Democratic Forces, the Women’s Protection Units (YPJ), the Internal Security Forces, families of martyrs, and artists from the Jazira and Euphrates Cantons. The event was held at the Culture and Art Center in the city center of Tabqa.
The festival opened with a minute of silence in honor of the souls of the martyrs, followed by a speech delivered by Samira Habash, Co-Chair of the Executive Council. In her speech, she stated:
“The aim of this festival is to enhance national awareness through art and to embody the deep spiritual bond between the homeland and its people.”
“Today, We Sing the Echo of Those Great Resistances”
She continued:
“Our fighters, women and men alike, struggle day and night without fatigue, making the greatest sacrifices to protect the homeland. Today, we sing as an echo of those great acts of resistance.”
The festival concluded with musical performances featuring national songs that expressed the people’s attachment to their land and their appreciation for the fighters who protect them, in addition to honoring the participating groups.
