Hundreds of residents of Hasakah took part in a march calling for the physical freedom of Leader Abdullah Öcalan. Participants carried portraits and flags of the Leader, along with banners bearing slogans such as: “The physical freedom of Leader Abdullah Öcalan is recognition of the will of the Kurdish people,” and “Through the philosophy of Woman, Life, Freedom, the Right to Hope will be realized.” The march was attended by local residents alongside representatives of numerous institutions and organized bodies.

The march set off from Al-Hamama Roundabout and proceeded to Martyr Serhed Roundabout, where it concluded with a mass gathering. The event began with a minute of silence in honor of the martyrs.

Speeches delivered during the gathering emphasized that although states were responsible for establishing the “Right to Hope” principle, they have failed to uphold their own laws and have yet to apply the Right to Hope to Leader Abdullah Öcalan.

The event concluded with participants chanting the slogan:

“Long Live Leader Abdullah Öcalan.”
