In the city of Hasakah, a celebration was held for the fighters of the Women’s Protection Units (YPJ) on the occasion of July 19. The venue was decorated with YPJ flags and portraits of Leader Abdullah Öcalan and the martyrs.
The celebration began with a minute of silence in memory of all the martyrs of the revolution.
Afterwards, the artists Comert and Berbang took the stage and performed a number of artistic presentations.
At the conclusion of the celebration, the YPJ fighters joined in traditional Kurdish govend (dabke) dances.
