Fighter Zeinab Ibrahim Al-Ahmad: “The Rojava Revolution is the Flame of Peace and Martyrs”
Zeinab Ibrahim Al-Ahmad, a fighter in the Women’s Protection Units (YPJ), spoke about the Rojava Revolution. She said, “The Rojava Revolution is a revolution based on humanity. The July 19 Revolution, from its inception until now, differs from all other revolutions in the world because it relied on creating solutions for issues, unifying peoples in an atmosphere of democracy, enhancing the will of the individual and community, and maintaining the true principles of women’s freedom.”
Zeinab expressed her pride in the Rojava Revolution, saying, “The Rojava Revolution is the flame of peace and the flame of martyrs. We have witnessed many sacrifices on this great and sacred day for all communities.”
She concluded by emphasizing that the enemy targets Northeast Syria because it seeks to retaliate against the victories of the July 19 Revolution. She said, “The enemy targets the July 19 Revolution, and we see today that it targets women in a horrific manner. This is because this revolution is the revolution of victorious women who struggle for their freedom, dignity, and the embodiment of their will.”
Based on this, she sent a message to all peoples: “We will be the hope for our peoples and liberate all our areas, whether from the terrorist organization ISIS, which disguises itself as mercenaries in the occupied areas, or from the Turkish occupation state, the sponsor of these terrorist groups.”
