Our Units Have Carried Out a Series of Operations Against ISIS Cells.
In these days when our region, Rojava and northeastern Syria, is facing violent attacks by the Turkish occupation, ISIS terrorist cells are attempting to carry out new attacks and massacres against our people. Accordingly, our security units in YPJ approached with great precision and executed a series of operations against two different ISIS cells.
Our forces carried out a special operation on the Al-Hasakah-Al-Shaddadi road, resulting in the arrest of two members of ISIS cells and the defusal of the explosive device they had planted on the road. Our YPJ units also conducted another operation in the Deir ez-Zor area, which also led to the arrest of one ISIS member and the seizure of a large quantity of ammunition in his possession.
As a result of these two operations, three members of ISIS cells were arrested, an explosive device was neutralized, and a quantity of ammunition was seized. In this way, a new plan by the ISIS terrorist cells was thwarted.
As the Women’s Protection Units (YPJ), we pledge to all women and our people facing multiple attacks that we will remain true to our vow and will be on the front lines of resistance to thwart all plans and attacks of extermination and occupation.
