On the third day of Operation Eternal Security, a secret tunnel was discovered.

Operation Eternal Security has entered its third day, with thorough searches across the town of al-Hol and al-Hol camp. This morning, the Internal Security Forces, Women’s Protection Units, and Syrian Democratic Forces began combing through the neighborhoods and districts of al-Hol. During the search in al-Hol camp, where families of ISIS mercenaries reside, excavation tools were found. Upon further investigation, a secret tunnel was discovered. The inquiry revealed that this tunnel was recently dug and currently reaches a depth of 2 meters.

Alongside the ongoing sweeps in the town of al-Hol, civil registry documentation efforts are also continuing in al-Hol camp.
