On the frontlines of resistance in Qarakozak and the Tishreen Dam, a historic and monumental resistance continues to unfold. In the face of brutal attacks by mercenaries affiliated with the Turkish state, YPJ fighters persist in carrying out a series of impactful operations. These operations stand as a powerful response to the invaders within the framework of legitimate self-defense and retaliation against aggression.
On December 25, five freedom fighters were martyred in Qarakozak. To avenge our fallen comrades in the struggle, YPJ fighters launched operations in Qarakozak to honor our martyrs: Jinda Botan, Dilan Shorsh, Watan Deir ez-Zor, Gharib Hasakah, and Akid Serekaniye. Positions of the mercenaries affiliated with the fascist Turkish state were targeted, resulting in the complete destruction of an enemy stronghold.
Additionally, fighters of the Serekaniye Military Council targeted three mercenaries who were preparing to launch attacks. As a result of this operation, three mercenaries affiliated with the occupation were eliminated.
