To Our People and to Public Opinion

Since January 6 until today, mercenaries of the Interim Government in Damascus and the occupying Turkish state have been attacking our people with various types of advanced weaponry before the eyes of the world. Our comrades Agir Zagros and Siyajin resisted these attacks with a spirit of struggle and resistance, without hesitation, and became role models for our struggle.
First, we extend our deepest condolences to Leader Apo, the founder and owner of the Free Life philosophy, to the families of our martyrs, and to all our resisting people.
Comrade Agir Zagros was born in the city of resistance, Kobanê. She opened her eyes in a family known for its patriotism, belonging to the Kitki tribe. Because of her patriotic family, she became familiar with the Freedom Movement from early childhood. With the beginning of the Rojava Revolution, she joined the ranks of freedom and walked the path of the free woman. She also took part in the campaigns of Hasakah, al-Shaddadi, and al-Tabqa in Rojava Kurdistan. Her sister, Comrade Sakine Cansiz, was martyred during the historic resistance of Kobanê in 2014. On January 18, 2026, Comrade Agir Zagros reached the rank of martyrdom along with a group of comrades following an ambush carried out by armed factions in the city of Raqqa.
Comrade Siyajin was also born in the city of resistance, Kobanê, and grew up in a patriotic family belonging to the Kitki tribe. Through her family, she became acquainted with the Freedom Movement from childhood. Comrade Siyajin was both a wife and a mother. Like thousands of young men and women of Rojava, she witnessed the Rojava Revolution and grew step by step within it. She also witnessed the brutal attacks carried out by the Turkish occupation against Rojava. In 2015, her brother was martyred in Kobanê. As her understanding of Leader Apo’s thought and philosophy deepened, and through her firm belief and courage, she joined the Battle of Honor. As a result of her participation, Comrade Siyajin rose to the rank of martyrdom on January 18, 2026, in the city of Raqqa.
Through their struggle in the Battle of Honor, our comrades Agir Zagros and Siyajin became examples for a free life. In conclusion, we pledge to our honorable and dignified comrades that we will never retreat from our goals of building a free Kurdistan. We will continue with determination on the path of the free woman. Once again, we bow in respect before the struggle of our heroes and extend our condolences to all our resistant and patriotic people.
