Resistance has always been the path of no return for the oppressed people. For this reason, the line of resistance against the line of treachery leaves its mark today on the pages of history, in the person of the red-haired women of this country.

The people whose hope was buried and whose history was considered to be non-existent, despite being subjected to all kinds of looting and destruction, have never forgotten that they have an ancient history. This means that many people like Mazloum became the true definition of this history with their lives in Amed prison. Amed Al-Bara’s daughter, Rojna Aqid, opened her eyes to the world in the city of resistance in 1975. Our friend grew up in a patriotic family after the story of Sheikh Saeed Birani’s resistance. Rojana with a brave heart felt the pain of her people with the passage of time, so the more she watched the occupation of the enemy, the more her anger for revenge grew. When it comes to revenge, the people of this country do not know those borders that were drawn for them, and they become at any moment the voice of revenge for the pain and suffering of their people. Because Comrade Rogna, who grew up in the culture of the resistance, has the same characteristics in her personality. This is also the biggest reason why she joined the ranks of the freedom movement. Bint Amed’s decision to join the resistance was the greatest revenge from the invading enemy for the pain and suffering experienced by her people. In 1991, Rogina Agid joined the ranks of the freedom movement with this belief. As a Perian woman, our comrade’s participation in promoting the Kurdish people’s freedom movement is the answer to revenge for hundreds of years of occupation. The definition of free life for comrade Rojana is like unstoppable water. Every moment of her life, as a revolutionary woman, she is an example of how anyone can be themselves and how a strong-willed person can be. The daughter of Biran fought the resistance in many arenas for freedom and a free homeland. With the attacks of the Turkish occupation state on the lands of Rojava, I headed from the Freedom Mountains and rose to the call of resistance in Kobani. And because she grew up within the culture of the Biran resistance, she waged a war for freedom in the streets of Kobani also non-stop, to become a voice of revenge for the cries of women, children and the elderly in this country. To achieve success in the positions of the resistance, she fulfilled her promise to the end with the same zeal.

Revolutions have always left, in their time and times, many traces that had a great impact on societies. Without a doubt, the revolution for which a bitter struggle is being waged today has reached our days thanks to fighters and leaders like Rojana. Death once again felt ashamed of their sacrificial souls and sacrifices. Since the beginning of the revolution, Comrade Rojana has been a source of strength and faith for her comrades in the cause, with her steadfastness and humble leadership in all steps of liberation and in all actions. Being the leader of the moment was one of the most important criteria for success for Rojana in all affairs of the revolution. For this reason, sacrifice and guerrillaism saw the definition of its truth in the person of courageous comrades like Rojana. It takes a bitter struggle, redoubled effort and dedication to be part of this revolution. Those with red strands, like Rojana, realize that there is nothing more valuable than their lives to sacrifice for this land and to build a safe homeland. Doesn’t he deserve to die a thousand times for the sake of such a steadfast people and a homeland like paradise? Because comrade Rojana lived with this knowledge, she became an example of sacrifice and dedication, to live in the memory and hearts of her people and her comrades.

And just as the enthusiasm shone like daylight in the eyes of this people and the fighters, to liberate the soil of this homeland, the promise of revenge that the likes of Rojana gave to its people has now reached its goal. After taking her place in the campaigns to liberate her people from the abomination of ISIS, comrade Rojana conducted many works in the people’s organization, especially the women’s organization. And because Comrade Rojana knew that the difficulty of building a human being is similar to the difficulty of building a revolution, this matter never hindered Rojana. Because working with knowledge, love and feeling has always had successful results. Building such a society, especially the development of women in all aspects, has been the most important task for Rojna to achieve success. Needless to say, they worked day and night with great dedication to achieve their goal. If today the women and youth of this country have come to know that they are indeed joining the ranks of the revolution, surely the struggle of brave leaders like Rojana also plays a prominent role in this success. The enemy, who was not satisfied with shedding the blood of the people of this country, did not appreciate their success as usual, and continued its brutal attacks. Because he knows that in all actions and activities of this revolution, women are leading, so the enemy is increasing its attacks. Accordingly, on the second of September, 2023, our comrade Rojna reached the rank of martyrdom.

At the outset, we offer our condolences to the family of our comrade, the heroine martyr Rojana Akid. We, as comrades of the leader and comrade Rojana Akid, believe that our promise of revenge will be in building a free and secure homeland.
