A popular march in the city of Qamishlo on the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women
On the occasion of the anniversary on November 25, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, joint events were held in the city of Qamishlo.
As a part of these events, the Joint Activities Platform for women’s organizations and movements organized a massive popular march in the city of Qamishlo, under the slogan “Jin Jiyan Azadî.” Speeches were delivered emphasizing the significance of this historic day for all women worldwide and society as a whole, by the Self- Administration of North and East Syria, the Union Star, and the Women’s Council.
The march started from Osman Sabri roundabout and concluded at the Martyr Rubar Qamishlo roundabout.
