The funeral of the martyr Naji Ziad Al-Sharji.
On Saturday morning, 2/12/2023, the people of the city of Qamishlo mourned the body of the martyr Naji Ziad in the shrine of the martyr Dalil Sarukhan.
The ceremony began with a minute of silence for the souls of the martyrs, then several speeches were delivered, including a speech delivered by Comrade Nazir Soufi on behalf of the Military Council, where he said, “The pain is overwhelming,but martyrdom is unmatched. We take pride in the certificates of heroes who took up arms not for aggression,but rather to safeguard our land.We are the bearers of a project rooted in human values. A movement that brings together all parts of the region,thousands of martyrs sacrificed their lives for the safety of these people. Glory and eternity to the martyrs, shame and disgrace to the traitors.”
Comrade Issam Ibrahim,the father of the martyr Kovend, also delivered a speech on behalf of the Martyrs’ Families Council.He stated that the martyrs were the ones who ignited the flame of uprisings and embodied them. They had pure hearts and revealed the truth. Our rebellion is against death,and we have created lives without it, thanks to the martyrs.
We extend our deepest condolences to the family of the martyr Naji on the promotion of their heroic son to the rank of martyrs,and we congratulate them on this badge of honor.
The ceremony ended with the Martyrs’ Families Council handing over the martyrdom document to the martyr’s family, then the pure body of the martyr was carried on the shoulders of his comrades-in-arms to be buried.
