Firstly, we congratulate Commander Abdullah Ocalan, the martyrs of freedom, and all the heroic people of our nation, along with our comrades in all arenas, on the anniversary of the liberation of the city of Kobani through its historic resistance against the terrorist organization ISIS and its sponsor, the Turkish occupation.On this twenty-sixth day of January in the year 2015, the People’s Protection Units (YPG) and Women’s Protection Units (YPJ) proudly and proudly announced the liberation of the city of Kobani from the heinous terrorist organization ISIS, considered the most formidable terrorist organization in the world. The heroic resistance displayed by the freedom fighters with steadfastness and strong will is impossible to break. With those principles and lofty goals embraced by the leaders, fighters, and all the people of our nation, whether on the front lines of battlefields or in the rear lines and on a global level, the image of enthusiasm, courage, and national spirit was clear as the sun, reflected throughout the world. Those battles lasted for 134 continuous days without interruption. Undoubtedly, the leadership of women and their heroic stances were the most distinguishing features of the victory of resistance in Kobani.That determination embodied in the heroic operations carried out by the Women’s Protection Units, starting with ‘Areen Merkan,’ a hill in Moshanour witnessing its sacrificial operation. Comrades like Rivan Kobani, Jiyan Dara Zozan Kobani, Vian Wan, and mothers who stayed awake at night tending to comrades’ wounds, participating in the war with all their strength. Many comrades on the battlefields showed great sacrifices, shedding their pure blood on the homeland’s soil, rising as martyrs, including comrades Masyro, Golhat, Shiyar, Herdem, and Wlat. On this great historical day, we congratulate the great leader Abdullah Ocalan, the freedom martyrs, and the resilient women represented by the Women’s Protection Units. The sacrifices made for the liberation of Kobani have become a solid foundation to connect in liberating every inch of our occupied land. This liberation was a strong blow to the tyrant Erdogan (the ISIS supporter wearing the mask of the presidency and sitting on the throneof Ottoman ambitions). We reiterate that the heroism of our martyrs, comrades, and people in Kobani is the beacon illuminating the path of our struggle in all arenas. We pledge to reveal the true essence of resistance.”And the struggle manifested by every free nation on all international platforms consistently.”
