Fighters celebrate the 4th of April in the Euphrates region.
Female fighters from the Women’s Protection Units (YPJ) and People’s Protection Units (YPG) celebrated together the birthday of the leader Abdullah Ocalan and the 11th anniversary of the establishment of the YPJ on April 4th in the Euphrates region.
Both the residents of the Euphrates region and the YPJ-YPG fighters celebrated the birthday of Leader Apo and the 11th anniversary of the YPJ’s establishment with great enthusiasm. The YPJ leader in the Euphrates region, Saria Afrin, spoke about the significance of this day, saying, “Today, we celebrate two occasions: the birthday of the leader and the anniversary of the YPJ’s establishment. Today is considered a birthday for everyone who considers the leader’s birthday as their own. The leader’s birthday is a celebration for the nation, the people, women, and the democratic nation. We gathered around the idea of the leader Apo. As women, we were born with the birth of leader Apo. We began the resistance, and we will continue the resistance until achieving the physical freedom of leader Apo.”
In the end, the fighters planted trees and formed dance circles to the rhythm of revolutionary and popular songs in celebration of Leader Apo’s birthday.
