
Today at 9:00 AM, the 4th Conference of the Internal Security Forces – Women in Northeast Syria was held in the city of Al-Hasakah, with the participation of several institutions and bodies of the Autonomous Administration for Women, including the Star Conference, the Democratic Union Party, the Martyrs’ Families Foundation, and the Defense Forces’ Women’s Protection Units (YPJ). The conference discussed the role of women in the region’s security and stability and the importance of protection.
The conference began with a minute of silence in honor of the martyrs, followed by an opening speech delivered by the co-chair of the Democratic Union Party, Fawza Yusuf. The proceedings continued with a reading of Commander Apo’s directives regarding women and defense.
During the conference, a report on the activities of the Internal Security Forces – Women for the current year was presented to the participating delegations, alongside discussions on the importance of developing internal security and defense and addressing existing gaps and shortcomings. Special emphasis was placed on the role of women in the new Syria.
All directors and members of the Internal Security Forces – Women expressed their determination to succeed, affirming their commitment to protecting their people and cities. The conference concluded with a celebratory ceremony.
