A delegation from the Youth International visited the leadership of the Women’s Protection Units (YPJ). The delegation included young men and women from Germany, Canada, Italy, Lebanon, France, Denmark, Catalonia, and Greece, alongside Kurdish youth from the diaspora, as well as activists, journalists, environmental advocates, and members of feminist movements.
The delegation was received by the YPJ leadership and members of the YPJ Military Council. Discussions focused on key topics, including the history of the YPJ struggle, their achievements within society, their fight against and defeat of ISIS, and prospects for their future participation in battles.
During the discussions, the delegation members expressed their full support for the Women’s Protection Units and their ongoing struggle.
