The history of our freedom is written through the efforts and the blood of our bravest comrades. Today, we once again bow in respect to the victory and sacrifice of a new heroine who emerged from the stronghold of resistance, Kobani, and became a star of freedom in the skies of Deir ez-Zor.
Our comrade Delvin Hasso, known by the nom de guerre Nudem Ararat within the ranks of freedom, opened her eyes to the world in the city of resistance, Kobani, within a patriotic family. She was raised on the culture of the July 19 Revolution and the spirit of Kobani’s victory. From her childhood, she learned the meaning of honor and the defense of the land. In her journey from Kobani to Deir ez-Zor, Nudem faced the most difficult fronts with great determination and unwavering will. She understood that the freedom of Kobani is inseparable from the freedom of Deir ez-Zor and the entire region. She was not merely a fighter; she was a symbol of the women’s freedom movement, a struggler for humanity, and an architect of a new life. With her smile and steadfast belief, she found a place in the hearts of all her comrades.
Martyr Nudem always moved toward success with a smile and immense energy. She embodied within her character the philosophy of a free life. Her persistent struggle and efforts will remain a lasting legacy in our history. Our comrade Nudem was known for her loyalty to the values of humanity and the freedom of Kurdistan. In every moment of her life, she stood as an unbreakable shield against all forms of darkness, and with great courage she advanced toward martyrdom in the pursuit of building a new life. Amid the revolution, she secured her place in the hearts of all her comrades until the very end through her perseverance, sacrifices, and humility.
When the occupying forces sought once again to impose control over our lands, Nudem stood as a steadfast shield against all attacks in Deir ez-Zor. With unparalleled sacrifice, she defended the values of humanity until her last breath and attained the honor of martyrdom as a result of her great resistance.
We promise to fulfill her dreams and aspirations. The martyrdom of Comrade Nudem is a source of strength and motivation for us to continue the struggle. That radiant girl from Kobani now blossoms among the flowers in every corner of Deir ez-Zor. She has left behind an unforgettable and enduring legacy. First and foremost, we extend our deepest condolences to her honorable family, to the people of Kobani, and to all our freedom-loving people. We pledge that we will raise the banner that our comrade Nudem carried in Deir ez-Zor to victory across all our homeland.
