A Delegation from the Leadership of the Women’s Protection Units (YPJ) in Damascus

Within the framework of the agreement concluded on January 29, 2026, between the Syrian Democratic Forces and the Syrian Interim Government, a delegation from the leadership of the Women’s Protection Units (YPJ) visited the Syrian Ministry of Defense.

The main focus of the meeting was on the mechanisms for the inclusion and integration of the Women’s Protection Units into the Syrian Ministry of Defense.
